this dress makes my boobies look bigger. 


dolling up in the morning, my sisters should be glad because on top of stealing my dresses for CNY i am like free labor makeup-artist for them.


steamboat D: CNY is steamboat feast for us, we usually eat steamboat for a straight 4-5 days nonstop during CNY. i love steamboat though (only my home cooked one!) so it's all good for me!






the relatives all having lunch. we take turns to eat so there's no such thing as reunion.


i thought this used to be "white rabbit milk candy" but now it's "golden monkey milk candy"??! changed brand or is it an imitation?

and with Ah Fat. everyone who visits for CNY never fails to comment on how fat she is. tsk! 4.5kg of hefty chihuahua-ness. and she didnt want to look at the camera!


but  Oreo was going on a testosterone high that day and kept on wanting to hump our poor dog -_-


Oreo's really adorable most of the time. and he's so enthusiastic to everyone too, we joke that if a burglar ever broke in Oreo'd just wag his tail and lick the perpetrator all over.


and our fat Baby who barks at everyone but still wags her tail and allows her belly to be scratched by everyone anyway

and after trying on a million and one dresses this morning in a bid to look for something to wear (ok i exaggerated. i tried on about 3 dresses.) i've decided that i need to do a dress clearance so i think im going to be putting up my unwanted dresses for sale here!! hmmmmmmm soon when i have the energy to get down to trying on outfits one by one and deciding which to keep/sell. so sad some of them have never been worn before but suddenly they just look horribly bad on me!!! saaaaad. but as they say, away with the old to make space for the new. huat ah!!!

hiiiii my audition went quite badly! like.. the judges didnt have anything good to say about my singing :( so it was terrible. they said my singing was very old fashioned, my pronouncation was too tight and my vocal register was all wrong. but i thought the duet was not too bad actually :( but oh well! it's ok, i'm taking it all in my stride because my performance wasnt anything to shout about. and there was another girl whom they praised to the skies, (some campus superstar girl i think) and i thought she was good too and we sang one same song (again, same girl i think) so basically she's gonna get in and im not! but its okaaaayyyyyyz!

WIW for the audition and an upcoming preview of what's up on  next,


super fierce printed S&B leggings matched with a studded dress that i folded shorter inwards to wear as a tunic! next collection we're going for the edgy, chic look! dont be alarmed by the printed s&b leggings, they dont look as scary as they do in the picture! it's really a very subtle print which only helps to accentuate the ruches of the leggings and look so totally chic! super not obvious unless under direct sunlight (like in the pictures)

for the not-so-adventurous, TVD is also bringing in the classic black s&b leggings and a very special bronze shade as well! mwahahaha. can't wait can't wait. Gina's gonna be launching the next collection probably next Thursday so stay tuned k :D

sang another two songs, 細水長流 and nothing's gonna change my love for you.. hmmm i think the duet was the best. BUT still they didnt say a single good thing about it. haha! never mind! :) i think i should really stop trying cos i'm not cut out for it obviously.

chinese new year's coming up and i cant wait to dress up and wear pretty new clothes everyday!! i havent been buying much, (too busy helping Gina with TVD!!!) so my only loot of the week!!


Corset Bustier Chiffon Dress in cool blue size M from  , it's abit loose for me at the waist though :( so i added a belt and it looks much better! :D

and i am collecting my lace cheongsam in red from Vel tomorrow to wear for CNY! so excited because i'm hoping it'll look better on me than the pink one :( *fingers crossed*

this is terribleeee cos my audition is in two days and all i did to prepare myself was to go for a crappy KTV session yesterday! :( 
think i'm just gonna die already. but it's ok huh i'll go down in a blaze of glory even if i sound terrible! :/ and i have nothing to blog about really. soooo random pictures ahead?

our latest favourite dining place has been Ichiban Sushi








i love beef sukiyaki!









and some beef tofu egg thing i forgot its name. comes in a value set + teriyaki chicken + rice + miso soup + tempura! quite worth it :D



cheese hotate yaki! not that nice actually i had higher expectations for it :(



tempura ice cream! yummy but the strawberry jam = wayyy too much and too sweet.

i went over to zouk saturday night to help with woon's event, KK and paul twohill were there to film an episode of chick vs dick as well.

KK is hawt!

highlight of the event was the jousting match! fish took part and i am so proud of her for her tenacity. AWESOME JOB FISH!

$23 dollars only! walao dont know where the heck my mom kept it :((( maybe she stole it for herself!!! i hate it when clothes go missing at home because we have like 4 females in the house and a hell lot of clothes. it's too easy to go missing and extremely hard to find! now i need to turn the whole house upside down again and mummy's gonna keeeeeel me.

ah well :( at least my room is really neat now, if not for the stocks from  and the pieces of brown paper lying around! Gina's been reaaaal busy since last night's launch! speaking of thevelvetdolls, the first collection seems to be doing really well! maybe accompanying Gina down to the suppliers tomorrow to check for restocks. all the stocks are selling really well and i think most items only have the last piece or so left! never realised how hard it is to run a blogshop but now that i've seen it with my own eyes my respect for all the blogshop owners out there has tripled, man. i wonder how they manage to keep track of sooo many things at one time! 

also i think i look really horrible in most of the pictures on TVD! :( really damn chui and thankfully JY is around to make the clothes look yummy so the pressure is off me :X my favourite pictures are the ones we took together though! we both look so much more natural and less stiff as compared to the single person shots. my hair is a mess too and i need to do something to it but probably only when CNY is over because the prices are exorbitant now!






i love this piece and the other one above that i kept from the collection! hehe <3 dont know why this design isnt as hot as the chiffon drape dress but i think the material/workmanship is excellent and the one i kept in size M fits me perfectly and is so comfy! i think there's a couple of pieces left for this design so go grab one because it's definitely worth your money!

presenting.. The Velvet Dolls!

i just designed the logo for my sister's upcoming blogshop   and I LOVE THE LOGO LIKE MAD CAN??? spent alot of effort on it! hai. my sister is damn lucky to have a designer for a sister. can help her design, photoshop, website layout and everything else for free!!! 



nice or not? i love it alot!! the doll illustration is done by me, while i roped in   to help me with the typo/words! i think it looks awesome la! i love the colors, the fonts and everything!





basically, the concept of the logo is based loosely on the idea of russian dolls! so i did up different variations of the dolls to use on the website. in different color schemes!! :D :D note the heart shaped mouth, i just thought it was really sweet!




i even adore the little LJ icon i made. hahahaha! isnt it adorable?
anyone else wants to hire me to design your logo for you? paying jobs only please! only sisters get special perks.

in any case, the first collection will be launched soon i think, maybe over the weekend! and guess who will be modelling :P i've checked out the stocks and i feel like keeping every piece for myself!!! but i think Gina will kill me if i do that. helloo i am free labour ok? the least you could do is to reward me with some clothes. 

i'm not sure when but i think a preview of the first collection will be up on site soon,
