Good Sunday, folks!
Taking advantage of a quiet Sunday while YZ is hard at work, to continue my Seoul adventures! Carrying on from where I left off in Part 1, (Etude House K-Beauty Tour: Flagship Store at Myeongdong) I'm gonna take y'all through the rest of the day of the Etude House K-Beauty Tour with me! :)

Right across from Etude House's flagship store in Myeongdong, there's a line of stalls selling the most delicious-looking street food!!
I couldn't resist buying a little something to munch on...
My favourite! Teobokki, or korean rice cake in spicy sauce! I'm missing this so much, lol. Didn't get enough of it while I was in Korea! I love that chewy and starchy rice cake accompanied by the super spicy hot sauce. It's so comforting especially in the cold weather!
Other sinful street food, all deep-fried and processed.. But oh-so-good! Too difficult to resist. Just look at that bacon wrapped sausage...

Right after our super fun shopping spree at Etude House flagship store, we were spirited away to a posh-looking spa at Apgujeong, Madison Avenue!
Lunch was served to us in a ribbon-adorned box.. And we opened our lunch boxes up to find our lunch in little plastic squares like this. Deceptively tasty too! That fried rice~~
We all got a relaxing hand and foot massage done, and pedicure and manicure services was offered as well, though I had to decline that since I already had gelish on both my fingernails and toenails...

Nonetheless, I'm all for being pampered. Enjoying my hand massage and the generous amount of hand cream that was tenderly worked into my skin that was starting to get a tad dry from the cool weather!

Next up, and also the highlight of the Etude House K-Beauty Tour: We were brought to attend a "Beauty Class" and got introduced to the latest bestseller in the house, the Magic Any Cushion!
K-Beauty Class in session! Along side the Singaporean bloggers and media, there were also attendees from Hong Kong and Thailand as well!
And here's the brand new Etude House Magic Any Cushion! I heard that 200,000 Magic Any Cushions were sold in Korea just within a few days of its launch in Korea, which sounds amazing already!
We were fed well with more sweets and savouries. Lucky us!
Of course, there was a prettily decorated display of products, which had everyone snapping away non-stop.

Can't say that I wasn't attracted to the pastel and girly packaging. I am such a sucker for pretty packaging!
We had a live demonstration by a renown Korean makeup artist Woo Hyun Jeung, who used the Magic Any Cushion in Magic Pink on a bare-faced model.
Upon application of the Magic Any Cushion, you'll see that the model's skin tone looks slightly fairer instantly, and also has a dewy pink finish!

It was slightly early for cherry blossom season when we were in Seoul.. But we were lucky enough to spot a lone flowering tree, in a random backyard along one of the little alleys we walked past!
The blossoms were pretty high up and I was having some trouble capturing it.. Before I remembered that I was carrying my Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 which has 21x zoom!!

Couldn't help but to marvel at the pretty pink flowers. My first time seeing cherry blossoms up-close!
Trying to be Girls over Flowers but sort of failed because we couldn't even get our faces and the cherry blossoms all into the frame and had to settle with white blossoms instead haha!
Dinner was at a traditional Korean restaurant!
I'm not huge on traditional Korean dishes because I don't quite know how to appreciate them.. But I still enjoyed our meal immensely!
This was yummy! Very thin slices of beef grilled/pan-fried in egg batter. Interesting!
The ingredients for our vegetarian bibimbap that we had to mix into the rice ourselves! Surprisingly delicious.
We ended dinner rather early, and so decided to head out to explore Gangnam area with the other ladies after a short rest back at our hotel. It took us about 20 minutes to stroll from our hotel all the way to Gangnam Underground Shopping Centre at the Metro Station!
The night that I discovered the best street food ever in Seoul...
This egg bread thingamy! Also called "Gyeran Bbang" in Korean.
It's basically like a muffin or pancake with an egg cooked into or on top of it!! The bread is sweet, but with a tinge of saltiness and is soooo yummy especially in the cold weather at night!
Love it that it's bite-sized and oh-so-delish too!

Arrived at Gangnam Metro, where the underground shopping centre is!
Most of the metro stations in Korea all have shopping areas, but some sell household ware, or hanboks etc, but the one at Gangnam has got lots and lots of women's apparel stores, and 10,000 won sales racks!
Apart from apparel stores, there's also lots of the usual Korean beauty stores as well as food/drink stalls.
I managed to score a couple of buys, which I was quite happy with! Generally though, the really cheap stuff are those on the sales racks. Some of the stores can be really expensive (like up to 70,000-80,000)!
The other ladies in the group were in search for "Fried Chicken and Beer', which although I was clueless about, we managed to find just exactly a restaurant that sold fried chicken and beer! It's apparently a very Korean thing to sit around eating fried chicken accompanied by beer and pickled radishes.
(Did a bit of googling and realised that fried chicken and beer is extremely popular now because of "My Love From The Stars" because it is Cheon Song Yi's favourite food in the show! Wah, like that also can)
We found "The Frypan" just a couple streets away from Gangnam Metro Station which even has the very words "Fried Chicken & Beer" right above the door.
So here's the beer...
And of course, the fried chicken!
Granted, it was really quite delicious. Freshly fried and very tender meat with a crispy batter! You can choose from a few dips like mayonnaise sauce and spicy sauce and even the potato chips are freshly cooked.
Fried chicken and beer.. What an unhealthy artery-clogging combination but so sinfully good! I know YZ will love this, though. I've have to bring him for some fried chicken (maybe minus the beer) when we go to Korea later this month! :D Yesss I'm going back to Korea again! Cannot wait. Hohoho.

That brought an end to an extremely eventful day with Etude House in Seoul. Phew! There are still many more travelogues to be blogged about, as well as reviews on the Etude House Magic Any Cushion and other favourite products! :)
